When trailers or bed loads push the rear down, steering gets light and braking can feel loose. The Firestone Ride-Rite system adds up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support so you can bring your stance back to level. That means your headlights stay aimed right, your front brakes bite like they should, and you keep the stable feel you want when towing a camper, boat, or equipment trailer.
You don’t need to crawl under the truck or jump in the cab every time you hook up a trailer. The built-in compressor and wireless single-path controller let you air up or drop pressure from 5–100 psi using your smartphone. Both air bags adjust together so you can stand by the hitch, watch the truck rise, and stop when everything is level. It’s quick tuning for any load—no gauges or in-cab switches required.
Firestone puts everything in one box so you can get the job done without chasing extra parts. You get Ride-Rite air springs, an Air Command 9523 standard duty compressor, an app-based wireless control system, custom-fit brackets, lines, fittings, and a no-drill mounting plate for the compressor. The brackets bolt to factory attachment points so setup stays clean and straightforward for a DIY install.
Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance here—each component is plated, coated, or made of brass to fight rust and wear. Reinforced rubber bags and tight-sealing fittings keep air where it belongs for a leak-resistant setup that lasts season after season. With a limited lifetime warranty on the air bags and 2-year coverage on hardware and compressor parts, this kit is built for years of hauling and towing confidence.

Work well
I did receive my order and it was put under the christmas tree. Looked like the box was packaged by firestone and etrailer reshipped to me. When I opened the box, the parts had not been individually wrapped or or any packing materials were used. The powder coating had been chipped off of several parts. This will not effect the air bags and the parts should last as long as I have the truck. It is the fact that this could have been avoided. Looking forward to warmer weather for the installation.
Awesome product delivery was fast.
Part was missing bolts right out of box. After getting right parts and performing installation. I can’t get the ecm to connect to Bluetooth to control of of phone. I am having to manually fill and empty airbags when needed. Seems really pointless purchasing compressor with ecm if they don’t work. After looking on forums it seems like everyone that has purchased this is having the same problems. Highly don’t recommend this product. Still waiting for Firestone to respond to my problem going on 3 months no response.
It's only been a week since installed but so far so good
They actually improved my ride. I have some stiff shocks that hit pretty hard when hitting a dip In the road. They actually smoothed out the hit. Very happy.
Nice product , easy installation and a big improvement to towing and ride handling
I like how the Firestone All-in-one comes with everything I needed without needing to piece together a bunch of parts. The best part is that the air bags and the compressor system come in one package, so everything is already matched and ready to install. I still had to mount the compressor myself, but there’s no guesswork on what works with what.
Installation takes a little time, but the bags make a noticeable difference. They level out the truck, cut down on squat, and help everything feel more stable when you’re towing. And with the onboard compressor, I can add or remove air whenever I need, without carrying around a bulky compressor or stopping at the gas station.
It’s a solid, well-built kit that simplifies the whole process. For anyone who tows often and wants a clean, all-in-one solution, it’s a great fit.
Installation was easy and simple with just everyday tools. Had plenty of airline but could have had some extra intake line as I wanted the intake filter up under the hood for easy access. Haven’t had the chance to put it to use yet but I know it will help.
Very easy install, I really can not give a honest opinion yes because I have not taken it out of the garage yet! Seems to be very good quality! I put Firestone ride rite bags on one of my other vehicles 20 years ago and have zero problems ever!
Air ride assembly arrived on time as promised. All the parts were there and looked to be a very quality built assembly! had dealership where I bought the truck install. Mainly bought this product to stabilize the ride while pulling our 45' Fifth Wheel Toy hauler. Very good product would recommend to anyone looking into air ride systems
Having some issues with app staying connected and it displayed that I have a leak that I was unable to locate. Had to power cycle the pump to get air back in the bags then Snooped all connections and couldn’t find leak. Ran pressure to 70 and still no leak detected. Will let you know if it still says leak again later today.
Installed on a 2022 GMC 2500HD AT4, stock suspension. The install of the airbags themselves were easy enough. As others noted the lower support brackets didn't quite align so I had to grind a little bit off for a better fit and alignment of the airbags. Easy enough. My frustration was with the installation of the easy mount compressor. There were no clear instructions on where to mount it with the supplied bracket. I bought this set up thinking it would be easy and no drilling necessary. That was not the case. I ended up drilling to mount the ECU and compressor spending more time than I wanted to. I paid extra for nothing. Wiring installation was a breeze. The firestone app is a bit slow and very quirky. The compressor tends to overrun even after only 15 seconds of either airing up or bleeding air. Often says I have a pressure leak when I don't have a leak. I've verified over and over. The app always resets itself and provides the correct inflation value. I would not go with the bluetooth option again. A dedicated remote is what I should have went with. Bags inflate wonderfully and work as advertised.

Thanks so much for the detailed review. We really appreciate you sharing both the good and the frustrating parts of your experience. We’re glad to hear the air bags themselves are working great, but we completely understand how disappointing the Easy Mount compressor and Bluetooth app experience was, especially after paying extra for the convenience. Your feedback on the mounting instructions and app quirks is incredibly helpful for other customers and for Firestone. One quick tip that may help with the overrun and false leak warnings is to double check that the compressor ground is tied directly to the vehicle frame and not shared with other accessories, and that all air line cuts are perfectly square. That can make a noticeable difference with the wireless system’s pressure readings.

I am very sorry to hear this Cody. I reached out to Firestone, and this is what they said back: I would recommend first checking that the fuse is on the positive side. We often see due to color coating that these get swapped around. Secondly, what is the passkey you are entering to connect to the system? Is the vehicle on when trying to connect? What app are you using? Please send screenshots of the app and what it is doing when trying to connect. You can send the picture by responding directly to the email you receive. I look forward to getting this to work properly =)
